About the Authors

Pat and Amanda Hogan

The Hogans are partners both in life and writing. Pat is a lifelong wrestler, and his wife Amanda has always been his biggest fan.

These high school sweethearts call New Jersey home, where Pat was a 2006 New Jersey State Champion. Amanda is a longtime elementary teacher who holds a special place in her heart for children’s books of all sorts.

Wrestling the Alphabet is the product of blending Pat’s passion for wrestling and Amanda’s love for literature.

When not absorbed in the latest wrestling news and stats, Pat can be found tying up his running shoes, listening to podcasts, or watching documentaries on literally anything in the world.

Amanda is often nose deep in a book or happily covered in either paint or flour. Their life would be incomplete without their slobbery bulldog, Carl, and their way-too-barky dachshund, Penny.
